Its an emergent decision, due to many reasons, but I finally decided to travel Greece before I go back to China. Its also a great time, summer vacation, relaxing days and Miss Fengmei finished her final thesis right on the day we departed. Pity thing is some good friends could not go due to the damn permit. I bless you could got it in August.

 

Since emergent, tickets were not cheap as usual. Volareweb.com is an airline opening only in summer and flies a lot between Greece and Italy. It turned out to be a nice airline, coz it allows free luggage check-in, which offers much more easiness to passengers than Ryanair and Easyjet. But I still love those two, coz they are cheap.

 

To start talking about the trip, I have to address that I wrote this article in English coz now I am sitting in the cabin of KLM airline flying back to China, with too many Chinese travelers sitting around I am shy to write it in Chinese.

 

The first stop in Greece is Athens of course. We booked round trip but if other friends would like to visit islands I recommend that to fly back to your home from the island directly, simpler and cheaper. Athens is a tourist city, everybody could speak English and English signs are everywhere, and the style of Athens is much more like China, not European. For example, there are many more grocery stores with selling man physically instead of automatic machine, buildings there are modern styles as well instead of Baroque or Roman in Italy, France etc. Later on I heard from a Spanish traveler that most of the construction works in Athens were carried on in 1970s and some in 2004 Olympics, like the subway systems.

 

The Acropolis, don’t know what to say about Acropolis, it’s the sanctuary place for Greek people between 700 BC to 300BC, its high on the mountain as we know, with a lot of sand and wind sometimes you feel dirty, but that represents the natural face of the historic site. Want to remind that student card can get you a free entrance instead of a 12 euros ticket, it’s the only moment that I want to stay as a student forever. Pathenon is under maintenance right this moment, a bad time, but it has been like that for a year, so nothing to complain and think about Duomo in Milan, don’t know how many years it needs to take off the billboard in front. See out from the highest place of Acropolis people can get a real beautiful view, view of whole city of Athens. A few steps downwards are the Agora and Stoa. I clearly remember that in the architecture history class I asked the professor many times what are Agora and Stoa, for Eastern students without European background its hard to understand at first. Well, it is just the public market place for normal people trading and shopping and hanging out, like People’s square in Shanghai, just this one is 2500 years ago. Now there are only incomplete parts of the Agora. Stoa obviously had refurbishment which is a museum right now. And don’t touch anything even stone in the Acroplis ;).

 

Also we visited Olympia Zues Temple, the first Olympic holding site and 2004 Olympic holding site on the second day. Athens is Athens, all related to Olympics. In the 2004 Olympic Stadium, I thought about Beijing, could not imagine how busy Beijing is now. And am so happy that I can watch the games at home this time:D.

 

On the second night we boarded on the Ferry to Santorini. It was my dream trip, floating on the Aegean sea for 10 hours, would not feel tired. Havent traveled by ship for a long long time, I was so excited. Fengmei was excited as well but because she majored in ship manufacture before…Our ticket is deck ticket, which has no seat for us, well, its ok, they sell more deck tickets than seat or bed tickets to guests on each ferry. Everybody sleeps in his/her own sleeping bag, anywhere on the ship, the hallway, the sofa, the deck. I could not sleep that night until morning. After talking with a Korean guy, I got to know more about Santorini, he is a kind of tour guide for a Korean group (just for part time job). He had traveled there for 5 times!!! What a crazy and lucky guy. Santorini is the southern most island of Greece apart from Crete island, and it’s the most famous one among all the islands of Greece. Its as small as a district of Shanghai, but with one side of cliff and other side of beach.

 

First day on Santorini we lived in Karterados, it’s a town near to Fira, which is the capital of Santorini. The hostel was exactly like a home villa, about 2000 meters away from Fira. We visited Fira and Oia in one day. Oia is the northern most town of Santorini, which is famous for White House(I call it like that), where once Kangta had a VCR there. The scenery was beautiful, all small white houses with blue dome and red and pink flowers on the white wall. The blue Aegean sea is right down the cliff. Oia is also well known for watching sunset. When we got the “best” place to watch sunset, its already crowded with people, and we waited for one hour to just see the final disappear of sun, and people cheered and clapped. They have “too much” leisure time I guess.

 

One thing to mention is that just now I was served the cabin food from KLM, what a nice meal, real Chinese food, not the food in Chinese restaurant in Italy. And its like Sichuan food, my favourite. I will eat hot pot directly after I got home, now I am YYing~~~J.

 

回头接着写，现在已在浦东机场了，没人在旁边“偷窥”了，我又可以写中文啦。前面讲到在圣托里尼岛的第一天，第二天我和丰梅姐就去了PERISSA这个小镇，换了个地方住，那边条件好多了，还便宜些。有游泳池，房间也更大。PERISSA是著名的黑色沙滩，我们就是为晒沙滩去的。在爱琴海边晒沙滩实在是很享受和惬意，可以完全忘记平日的烦心事。天蓝，海蓝，周围各式比基尼和沙滩裤，来自各个国家的游客。但代价也是惨痛的，虽然用了SPF50的防晒霜，我还是被晒伤了。第二天皮肤都还火烫火烫的。

 

回来的船上又在爱琴海上漂了10个小时，但一点不觉得累，下船时还很不舍。今后，应该还会再去的吧。

国内的朋友，我回来了，想死你们了。

其实既然是学生,主要任务就是学习.这句话好像是废话,但很有道理.

 

本科和硕士之间没有间隙,没有工作的缓冲,会让人产生对学习的倦怠,并开始向往工作之后的生活.

可是不少工作之后的人也再回到学校来学习,是为了什么呢?不是文凭,而是知识.他们会有他们的特殊困难,比如家庭的负担,不再习惯学校的生活等等.

他们会说一鼓作气读完最好.

 

既然在学校了,不曾学过的专业,就好好学东西吧.多享受当学生的乐趣.

虽然会有疲累,会有彷徨,会有日复一日的上课和考试;但没有老板,没有利益冲突,没有社会压力.

虽然没有工资和奖金,没有成功的喜悦,没有翘首期盼的目标;但有可以旅游的假期,有毫无保留的老师,和同样正在享受学习生活的同学朋友.

 

一个时期就做一个时期的事.既然我不属于工作之后再回来学习的类型,但可以把自己假设成那样子.这样就会觉得自己是在度假了...

 

P.S.已经是本科毕业答辩一年纪念日了.时间过得真快.这一年感觉有收获吗?有.那就OK了.

意大利的夏季就这么无声无息的来了.自从来到这里后仿佛一直在冬天里泡着.现在终于可以享受热情的地中海阳光了~~~

到处都是手拿冰淇淋的人们,意大利让人"可恨"的是他们怎么吃甜食身材都还那么好.不少游客也都学着意大利人手持冰淇淋旅游,可是如果是美国人之类的一眼就可以看出来,因为身材太不一样了.

 

 

    

                                                                           第一次登上DUOMO看米兰,只是票价又涨了.

 

 

 

                              

        无意中发现在米兰的奢侈品街的尽头有家ARMANI咖啡店,那里的冰咖啡太好喝了,不过就是东西有点贵.我就不谈价钱了,否则好象我跟钱过不去.说到VIA MONTE NAPOLEONE, 那里才是米兰为什么是时尚之都的原因吧.看似居民区的小街道,挨家挨户都是名牌的旗舰店.门面很小,里面很大,但很暗,大概比较方便明星来购物吧,给人一种隐蔽感和安全感.并且和另外三条街围成一个四方形,全都是专卖店,不用过马路,不用看红绿灯,一直围着那个街区转就可以了.并且窄窄的马路让人豪不费力的进入下一家商店.恩...真会做生意,这是我的新发现.谁不喜欢到这里来呢??-_-!!!

 

        坐船去BELLAGIO,那个在COMO湖的人字形中央的小镇.一路被太阳晒的不行,被湖风吹得要倒.每次我撑伞就会听到某些意大利人的笑声.我知道你们就算晒到身上起红斑也不会撑伞的,我就要让你们知道为什么亚洲女性皮肤这么好.BELLAGIO这个小镇小到一个小时必定逛完.但高高低低的石板小路延伸出去的小镇中心让人不舍离去.这里仿佛游人比当地居民还多.在小镇上发现一家很有特色的商店,有卖皮包,鞋,领带和披肩的,具有一种统一的古典色彩,当我忍不住赞叹那里的东西的精美时,店主小姐说这都是她父亲亲手设计的,他们只在BELLAGIO和VENICE有店,图案是文艺复兴时期的艺术图腾,材质是皮革和真丝的结合.看着那一双双女士高跟鞋,我只觉得即使买了也不会穿的,完全是艺术品.但我想给妈妈买一双.太帅了.
